Arty week

We got to go into the art room this week and we painted fierce lions! Don't they look amazing?

We also shaped clay into Diya pots for Diwali and we collaged rangoli designs. We painted them and we think they look beautiful!

Matariki

We have been learning about MATARIKI (The Maori New Year Celebration).

Learning school rules

We read a book called "No, David!" to learn the school rules. We taught David how to be polite, considerate and sensible at school. We are so proud of how well our Davids turned out!

Easter

Hi all

We made little chicks and bunnies to celebrate Easter. We also went on a bunny treasure hunt around our classroom which was great fun!

Crafty couple of weeks

We have been busy settling into routines and getting used to school!  Here are a few things we have made:

We read a book called "David goes to school" By David Shannon. We had to teach the main character - a boy called David the rules of school and how to be good.

We made letter C cats for our letter of the week

We also made Ladybirds for maths and valentines day. We had to count how many hearts we used altogether, it was so fun!

Mother's day love

We hoped all the mothers out there had a lovely mother's day! We would like to show you what we made for our mums. 

Reminder: Our trip to Ambury Farm is this Thursday 14th May. Please make sure children do the following - wear closed toe shoes and school uniform, bring a lunchbox, raincoat and drink bottle.
