Room 1 did some great writing last term, and as a result, won a competition to visit The Auckland Zoo and Bug Lab! We had an amazing time learning about lots of bugs and animals! Big thanks to our parent helpers! Check out some photos from the day!

Arty week

We got to go into the art room this week and we painted fierce lions! Don't they look amazing?

We also shaped clay into Diya pots for Diwali and we collaged rangoli designs. We painted them and we think they look beautiful!

Our special visitors

Kia Ora,

Room 1 were very lucky on Friday. Mrs Chignell brought her pet Guinea Pigs into school. We got to meet them and some of us even had a go at feeding Milo citrus leaves. It was such an exciting experience stroking Milo, we had so much fun!
