Room 1 did some great writing last term, and as a result, won a competition to visit The Auckland Zoo and Bug Lab! We had an amazing time learning about lots of bugs and animals! Big thanks to our parent helpers! Check out some photos from the day!

Zoo trip

Last Friday Room 1 went to the zoo. We had so much fun seeing all the different animals. Especially the New Zealand native birds - Kiwi and Kea.

 

Arty week

We got to go into the art room this week and we painted fierce lions! Don't they look amazing?

We also shaped clay into Diya pots for Diwali and we collaged rangoli designs. We painted them and we think they look beautiful!
