Room 1 did some great writing last term, and as a result, won a competition to visit The Auckland Zoo and Bug Lab! We had an amazing time learning about lots of bugs and animals! Big thanks to our parent helpers! Check out some photos from the day!

Congratulations to Joseph and Blake who were 'Caught Being Good' by Miss Stonestreet! Thanks to Duffy Books, they each got a new picture book to take home!

Spelling bee and our super star speller!

We have been practising so hard for our spelling bee at PCS.  We had a class competition and the winners were

yellow- Samaira

green - Wesson

white- Evelyn

Samaira then went through to the year one, Kea team finals. She won!! Getting all 20 words correct. Well done Samaira!
