Room 1 did some great writing last term, and as a result, won a competition to visit The Auckland Zoo and Bug Lab! We had an amazing time learning about lots of bugs and animals! Big thanks to our parent helpers! Check out some photos from the day!

Our mini Olympics day

Parent Reminder: Don't forget to keep Monday 29th August free, so you can come to our whole school assembly at 2.10pm!

We adopted a country for our PCS Olympics. Guess what country we were...?  We were China! We made a flag and dressed in red and gold to represent China.

Spelling bee and our super star speller!

We have been practising so hard for our spelling bee at PCS.  We had a class competition and the winners were

yellow- Samaira

green - Wesson

white- Evelyn

Samaira then went through to the year one, Kea team finals. She won!! Getting all 20 words correct. Well done Samaira!
