Learning school rules

We read a book called "No, David!" to learn the school rules. We taught David how to be polite, considerate and sensible at school. We are so proud of how well our Davids turned out!

Some exciting things we have done lately.

We spent some time with our Buddy Class!
We got to do some reading with Room 22. It was really fun listening to stories and reading books.

We also had a great time at the Blue Light disco run by the police. Here we are with our tickets.

We also have been playing a cool maths game on the MIMIO to learn out doubles to 20. We did boy vs girl teams and the boys won!

Here is our Mrs Wishy Washy play that we performed at our assembly. Thank you to Obi's parents who recorded it for us.

A big thank you to the parents and whanau that made it to our PCS open morning. We really enjoyed having you here and showing you how clever we are! 

We read a shared big book called "Monkey's shoes". We then had to colour a monkey, design his huge shoes and write about our favourite part.

Here are some of them that are displayed on our wall. 

Reminders: 

- Children were sent home with raffle tickets to sell. If the money could be back ASAP that would be great! 

- PTA mufti day is this Friday (7th Nov). Children need to bring either a gold coin donation or a can of food donation.

Book character and Diwali dress up Friday!

We had such a super time on Friday! We were allowed to dress up as a book character or in our Diwali clothes. Here are some snapshots from our day.

Our first day in Room 1 for 2014

We had an exciting first day, exploring our new classroom and meeting new friends. Look at we got up to!
