ANZAC day paintings

Here are our amazing ANZAC poppy paintings. We learned that poppies help us to remember the soldiers that fought for New Zealand's safety. We are so lucky to be New Zealanders!

Fun during the end of term 1!

Talofa,
We have had such a busy but fun few weeks to round off term 1! Doesn't time fly by?
Here is a lovely photo of us before we performed in our Pasifika Showcase. The countries we were representing was Samoa and NZ.

On the last day of school, we got to make popcorn as a special treat! It was fun watching the corn kernels pop and the popcorn was delicious!

Here we are, putting the kernels into the popcorn machine.
Here we are eating our delicious popcorn.

Have a great last week of holidays! Don't forget that school begins again on Monday 20th April.

Making Poi

Kia Ora

We had a go at making our very own poi as part of our Being a New Zealander unit. They look so good and we love using them in our dances to Maori Waiata.
