We are getting good at doing Friday Math problems!

The problem for week 2:

Trains

Kieran makes a train from a green rod, a yellow rod and a black rod. Sharon makes her train from a green rod, a black rod and a blue rod? Who has the longest train?

- We worked in pairs using rods to compare the length of two trains. We found out that Sharon had the longest train!

- We also discovered that we need the trains to start at the same place when we measure them, so it is fair (just like a running race!).

We then also explored how many rods we needed to measure the length of our math books. We found out that we needed 3 brown rods or 6 pink rods! We are so clever!
