We have had a really busy week! We have been practising extremely hard for our assembly next Monday, creating calendar art pieces and getting ready for our trip tomorrow!
Here are some pictures of us creating our beautiful sunflowers (just in time for spring) that are going to be made into calendars, diary covers and much more! First we had to draw our sunflower in chalk and carefully colour around it using crayon. Some of us were super clever and blended our colours together. Lastly we had to dye it and we thought the effect it had on our artwork was quite magic!
We also made flower leis to wear at our assembly next Monday. We used our term value DETERMINATION to keep going, even though it was a bit tricky threading the flowers and straws onto the string.
