Welcome back to term 3 in Room 1.

Talofa lava everyone,

It is our third term in Room One. We have a REALLY busy term ahead of us. Here are some of the things we look forward to this term..

- 3 way parent/teacher conferences are in week 3 - (Parents don't forget to book a time online!)

- Room 1 is hosting our very first whole school assembly in week 8! We would love it if parents and whanau could attend. 

- We are learning about Samoa and Space this term for topic.

- We have a trip to the Stardome in week 7.
- Our lovely Pasifika showcase is in week 9.

We had such a fun maths problem solving session today. We had to use ice-block sticks to make triangles and then we had to count how many sticks we used. The triangles and sticks formed a pattern. We worked out that for every new triangle, we had to add 2 to the total number of sticks.
