Hello,
We have been busy learning our days of the week. We have a special song that we sing and then Miss Fok read the Hungry Caterpillar book to us. We had to match the days of the week to the food the caterpillar ate. We then matched the days of the week to things we do at school. Look at how well we worked in our teams to get our posters done!
We have also spent some time reading with our buddy class (Room 27 who are year 6 children). We enjoyed sharing our published stories with them and then listening to the older children read to us.
Lastly, we worked with Room 2 to put on a fantastic Kea team assembly for the other year 1 classes and our Whānau.
